Task 5

actually, I want to draw a flower, but I failed. I do not know what I was drawing, while it was interesting.

I drew a flower. I did not know the reason why I drew it just flower come to my mind. Perhaps I like to draw flowers when I was young.

In the photo, it seems the traffic light is stick in the building, thus the scenery looks like a drawing picture more than a photo.

What I can learn from the photos is when I take photos of buildings, I can consider about the a objects  beside buildings and looking for a good angle to capture the scene.

 The shadows and the high angle to take the photo make people feel very close to the obect. The feeling of depth absolutely reflects from the picture. From the picture I think I can take pictures of buildings in low angle to try to create the feeling of depth.

This photo looks fantastic, because the objects around the building match it very well. It seems two or three building inside the photos. Also, the feeling of depth can be illustrated totally.

 This picture is the construction place, which must be takn in high angle, objects near the place looks like toys. The structure of the pillars arrange logically to convenient for workers to construct the builing. Also, majority of pillars arrange as square, but some pillars seting as triangle for triangle can make arrangement of pillars in the building become stable.

The lines in the photo demonstrates the logical structure of the building very well.

The photos for light project (second time) [2]

I like the photo, but the windows is very dark. I do not know how to explain.

The light makes other building' shadow place in this  building, but the light is not very strong to have bad influence on people's eyes.  It is a kind of scenery in the city.



The lines of the building reinforce the logcial structure for the framing of the picture. Besides, people decorate the window by showing they love New Zealand, which is very meaningful and harmonious.

It is a coincidence a person walked pass when I took photos.

It can show people not aware of the beautiful scenery around them, perhaps they are busy on their work. The beautiful things are around us, we just do not recognise of them.

I took all photos of different buildings on Terrace. I try to learn from my research, but I found that it is very hard to take photos of the buildings which have windows, becasue I cannot avoid the overexposure. I do not know how to adjust the exposure to reduce overexposure times.

I took many photos not only for capture good angles and nice framing, but also becasue I need pick the clear photos (my hands will shake when I am carrying heavy things).

what I learnt from those photos is that I should consider the light on the windows and try to avoid overexposure.

Research for project three

Two of the photos above is from American planter Mark Rothko. I like the colour of the phictures and the pattern he made.

These two buildings pictures are from a German Visual artist. He is famous for his landscape and arthitecture photos.
